I am sitting here anxiously awaiting the arrival of my NEW kitchen counter. It is to arrive at noon today March 5th.
A quick refresh on what is being installed:
- Corian Rain Cloud counter top (27sq ft) – A solid man made product that is easy to repair if damaged.
- A new double bowl under mount sink – Stainless steel
- A new Vintage style faucet – Chrome
- White 3″x6″ subway tile with white grout
Today I invited a couple general contractors over to quote the backsplash and electrical work as well as the final two projects; the flooring in the two bedrooms and the wall paper removal. Hopefully the kitchen work can commence this week and be complete for me to publish by end of the weekend.
Here we are at 1:45pm. The installers have come and gone. I am so excited! For the next 24 hours the counter is off limits so the sinks caulking can set. At 12:30pm tomorrow the plumber will be in to set up the faucet and attached the plumbing.
