My Country Farmhouse – Day 9 – My Country Farmhouse

So it has been 9 days since I’ve been laid off work and continue to maintain my social distance from the world. Over the last few days I’ve been working on some projects around the house. I’ve ripped out almost all of the carpet in the back mudroom (future laundry room) and started to chop out and prune the overgrown shrubs, cedars, pines and weed trees.

Here is some of the progress being made:

This week the plan is to finish removing the remaining carpet (which is actually only around the closet now) and to make sure the floors are levelled.

Friday and Saturday my sister and I will finish moving my father in to his new apartment a few blocks away. We will also be hanging some cupboards for additional storage in his kitchen.
